Most annoying clips from past and present shows.

Over this winter break with the shows being off until the second week in January I have been catching up on old episodes of TV shows both past and present, and while it has been nice to reminisce I have unfortunately witnessed a few annoying and embarrassing clips from some of my favorite shows.

The first clip is from One Tree Hill season 6 (which by the way is my second least favorite season of this show).
This clip is when Nathan and Chase do Karaoke and it leaves you speechless, and not wanting more.

The second clip is from the O.C season 2,and in the clip Marissa's father Jimmy had just left, and as sad as that is this clip is quickly ruined by the Cohen's (mainly Sandy) trying to help Marissa's mood by talking about how to really cream cheese a bagel, and unfortunately I am not kidding.

The third and final clip for the day is from Gilmore Girls season 4, and it takes place when Jess is about to leave, but is distracted by the amount of money his Uncle Luke has given him, and while trying to find Luke, Jess is thrown off by running into Rori, and as Rori always does she makes herself look dumb by having Jess chase her around, and as a fan of this show I find myself questioning yet again why guys like Rori..at all.

Fall 2009 show recaps, and predictions for the spring season!

Instead of studying for my finals as is every single one of my fellow college students right now, I am sitting here and thinking about the suprises in the fall season finales, and making predictions for the upcoming episodes.

Shows that suprised me- One Tree Hill, Melrose Place, and Gossip Girl
Although I have been bashing OTH, and Gossip Girl for the better portion of the year I am very happy in how their fall seasons ended. OTH and Gossip Girl as well as Melrose place all went to the Dark side. OTH especially suprised me in going over to the dark side with Alex's suicide attempt, and Milicent and her cocaine addiction. In doing this OTH was able to grab more fans, because what is better then witnessing characters lifes fall apart. In Gossip Girl the idea of Serena having to decide between two cousins it caused for alot of drama, especially since one of them was married at the time. In choosing the wrong cousin Serena was left in the front seat of a crashed car, that was not her fault to begin with. In the season finale not only did that happen, but we found out that the good Chuck that has just turned good since dating Blair still has some bad in him. In finding this out we were suprised to find his father reappearing as a ghost with bad advice..Chuck came out of it as the good Chuck that we all know and love, but also with a potential living mother..that we were not aware of being alive until the very end of the episode. With Melrose it has had pretty low ratings with the very poor previews and the terrible acting by Ashlee Simpson, but in the last few episodes with the new relationships between neighbors it allowed for way more interesting story lines. Overall the CW has stepped up and has kept all of us at our feet for the new spring seasons.

Shows that did not suprise me in being amazing as usual- Desperate houswives, Brothers and sisters,90210, Cougar Town, Modern Family
Desperate houswives kept us all at our feet at the SCREAM made by Gabby when the plane almost hit her daughter, and instead Lynette was there to rescue her pregnant and all. This also leads to us assuming that the scavos and Solesis will finally be friends again after all of the talk about going to court, and such. We were also left with a clif hanger wondering who died..Carl or Orson who were in the house where the plane slid right into...I believe it was not only Carl, but also Bob..with Bob's signifcant other looking for Bob for most of the episode that causes me to assume that Bob may be dead along with Carl. In brothers and sisters we were witnessing a very happy marriage ceromony until kitty passes out at the end..which allows us to assume her cancer is worse then we all thought. And in 90210 Naomi finally hears the truth about her sister and Liem, which in the season finale we get to see them together at the end..because liem finally reveals alittle about himself...that is unfortunate in my opinion because I liked levy and Liem because levy repped it for the townboys..but it is nice to see Liem and Naomi happy..also we end the episode with annies boyfriend revealing that he is not only a drug dealer, but he has known all along that annie killed his uncle, which causes us to assume that he is going to play the video to portray just that..and screw annie over yet again. Cougar Town, and Modern family kept me laughing their whole fall season with the sarcasism in both shows, which was well needed after watching all the shows that were filled with tears, and drama through out the whole season we needed something to keep us laughing.

I pray that with the Golden Globe nominations coming out in two days that Desperate Housewives will get some nods, as well as Brothers and sisters, and even cougar town, and modern family..keep your fingers crossed.

Best Show of the Week: Brothers & Sisters

Bridget: Brothers & Sisters stepped their game up on this weeks episode. Everything from the wine tasting to Kitty and her husband and his reaction to her hair and Sarah and her boyfriends situation. In overall great episode. Other shows watched this week were Desperate Housewives, One Tree Hill, 90210, Melrose Place, sadly The Hills and the City,Modern Family, Cougartown, and The Ruins. Desperate Housewives was good as usual especially sense we got to see more of Angie in Sunday's episode. One Tree Hill was really good as well, but Haleys sister needs to calm down and GET A CLUE. 90210 and Melrose Place were amazing as always, and Dixon is really really annoying and I hope Naveed saw Jasper push him down the stairs. Melrose Place has become one of my favorite shows of the week. It is different kinds of drama and I really like Davids and Laurens relationship. The Hills has basically become the same every week, with the same drama and the same conversations. The City is actually really hilarious because Roxy is an idiot and their boss is awesome. Modern Family and Cougartown were hilarious as always. The Ruins is absolutely terrible. With Brad being gone their is no point in watching it and the Champions have an easy rout to the finish line. It sucks that their is no good TV next week except for the American Music Awards and I'm excited for Rhianna and Whitney Houstons performances.

Next Show To Be Canceled..hmmm

Shows have been dropping like flies lately, and im starting to wonder if the shows I actually like will be the next dropped. For example Eastwick was canceled, and that had alot of very well known actresses and actors in it, and it also followed the hugely popular cougar town, and modern family. With that said I am afraid along with CWs TBL (the beautiful life); which lasted a good two episodes, One Tree Hill might end its 6 season streak. With One Tree Hill already bumped up to the 8:00 oclock spot I am afraid OTH looks like the best contender to get booted next. With it competing against dancing with the stars, and for the pure fact that the CW has really put alot of money and attention into the highly liked 90210, Melrose Place, Vampire Diaries, and Gossip girl it would only make sense that One Tree Hill be booted, which is unfortunate for fans like me, but lets be honest with ourselves...Lucas, and Peyton our gone and they were among the favorite regular characters on that show..so it would only make sense that like the favorite regulars the show goes with them, and we can all reminisince on the past seasons, and put more time into the other shows...like 90210!

Mia Micheals of So You Think You Can Dance will be missed

Mia has been apart of so you think you can dance for all five of the seasons, and unfortunately for all SYTYCD fans she is not with us anymore. Mia has created dances such as Lacey and Kameron's "Dancing", and one of her most popular from last season the Jeanine and Kayla season finale dance. Al though people will still be entertained with choreographers such as some of my favorites Laureann Gibson, and Sonya..it will not be the same without Mia. Mia makes each dance a story, and people can relate to most of the stories that Mia creates, and that makes the show that much more appealing. With Mia's departure its hard for me to say that I will keep up with this season 6 without her. Not only is Mia going to be gone, but also the show is on only one day a week, and it was already taped, and all of the dances are performed at a different theater..i just think that SYTYCD should stick with their regular summer season, and get back to their old theater..and most importanely convince Mia to come back!

Modern Family=Hillarious!!

So on Wednsedays lately I go from watching So You Think You Can Dance to watching Glee for a half an hour and then watching Cougar Town, but all of the critics have been raving about the new show Modern Family that comes on ABC right before Cougar Town so I figured i'd give it a chance...and I am so happy I did. Ever since Everybody Loves Raymond has been off the air I have needed a new family to watch, and laugh at, and Modern Family did just that. From the relationship with the Father and daughter to the gay married guys, and the way to old of a husband and young gorgeous wife it has everything that t.v has been missing. As much as I love my drama filled shows ranging from Brothers and Sisters to 90210 its nice to finally be able to laugh through out half hour increments with Modern Family, and Cougar Town.. ABC is really stepping it up, and I think the other networks should take a note.

Gossip Girl...Needs to step it up

On Monday nights lately I have found myself going back and forth from Gossip Girl to the Big Bang Theory. Last year if anyone even talked during Gossip Girl I would have freaked, but lately I find myself bored with Gossip Girl. I really cant stand Serena, or Rufus. I never have liked them, but lately Serena, and Rufus have just made me give up on the whole show itself. Am I still going to watch it...yes, and its only because of Chuck and Blair, Chuck is amazing, and gets hotter every episode, and Blair is hillarious. Yesterdays episode really made me think about whether I would keep up with it, because of Tyra's terrible acting abilities. Tyra-stick to your own T.V shows...she needs to forgot about the past, and realize that she is way to old to play a role of a person that should be around Hillary Duff's age. I think considering the fact that 90210 has really stepped it up, and Melrose Place has been nothing but AMAZING in the last couple episodes, Gossip Girl needs to step their game up. Whether its more air time for Chuck and Blair, or less air time with Serena, and Rufus. I dont know, but what I do know is if Gossip Girl puts Tyra in another episode..I will strike.

Your Madgesty

There were many good shows to be talked about last night. The biggest show on television last night was the Late Show with David Letterman because he had an even bigger guest then Obama, Madonna. She is just a pure genius. I have never seen Letterman more nervous then he was last night. He was screwing everything up and things weren't very organized. It was a pretty good interview, although there was like a pizza thing that wasn't necessary and he didn't ask all the questions I wanted him too, Madonna still looked gorgeous and answered all the questions like she should, including when he called her Madge, her nickname, and asked her what it meant and she said either middle aged housewife or preferably majesty. The Ruins premiered last night and the cast is pretty stacked. Everybody hates Wes which is kind of understandable but he's still one of my favorites and very attractive, Veronica is getting hers and I'm happy shes back, sucks for Diem who was like I'm a leader and then lost in her first challenge and Chet wont be remembered. My favorite show of the night was once again Cougar Town. Courtney Cox was hilarious and the neighbor, Elle, is also very funny. This show is what T.V needed.

MY GUILTY PLEASURE....the hills.

I absolutely love to hate the Hills. I wish I could sit here and say that I do not enjoy watching the Hills, but I do. Al though it is beyond stupid with the characters such as Audrina, or Lo, or Stephanie acting like they have gone through so much..I still find myself tuning in. I think the reason, and the only reason I will really keep up with this season is because of Kristen Cavallari. She is the truth. Some girls just can not handle the truth...hence Audrina, Lo, and Stephanie. In the premiere of the new season of the Hills I was not only embarrassed for Audrina, because she looked like a huge baby, but also because of how badly she stood up to Kristen. If your going to say something to someone..please..please don't take advice from Audrina saying...O REALLY...O REALLY...wow good one..two high fives coming your way...NOT...figure it out. Also does Stephanie have a brain??? I'm just curious, because she literally went over to Audrinas place, and then blurted out information that should have not been blurted out so easily..she basically said SUCKS FOR YOU BUT JUSTIN BOBBY LIKES SOMEONE ELSE...so overall I don't know what stinks more the fact that I watched the show, or the fact that I wrote about it..hmmmm

Greys Anatomy- More like not nominated for an emmy for best show anatomy!!

I am beyond, beyond over Greys Anatomy. I unfortunately spent my Thursday night this past week watching the 2 hour season premiere, and after the show I not only felt stupid for wasting my time, but I also was to tired to go out. Greys Anatomy has been doing bad ever since the episode were Izzy spent the whole episode trying to save a deers life...that about did it for me, but I got back into it when I heard all about the season finale being so good, and after watching it online I can honestly say that it was good, hence the reason why I watched the season premiere. But unlike the season finale the premiere was terrible. The whole episode was spent with the cast either trying to figure out why they cant cry on point, or making fun of the girl that was saved by George...overall I was not impressed, and that lead me to the assumption that the critics werent either...example a. no best drama series emmy nomination.

Best New Show-COUGAR TOWN!!!

Courtney Cox picked yet another sucessfull show to star in. Not only is Cougar Town going to be a huge hit, but it features herself among other likeable characters. My favorite character will probably end up being Laurie who is played by Busy Phillips. Phillips has stared in movies like White Chicks, and He Is Just Not That Into You, and has always portrayed a character that dosent really care what other people think about her, and I think that audience members will grow to love her for it.Besides Phillips attitude the show is really about Courtney Cox's character Jules who plays a 40 year old divorce who is lonely, and is willing to try new things, and I think with her blunt personality, and Phillips easy going attitude this show will really be among the best of the best.

Thoughts on One Tree Hill season 7

Every Monday since high school I have found myself sitting through school, and or other activites thinking about one of my favorite shows that was going to be on that night One Tree Hill, but unfortunately for me the show has been going down hill ever since season four, and besides the season finale of season 6, and the opener for season 7 I dont think One Tree Hill is going to get out of the slump. Most people think that season 7 is going to be bad just because Lucas, and Peyton are out of it, and even though I can say happily that i stole Peytons love for collecting records that is about the only thing I liked about her. As far as for Lucas although I admired his love for literature he really had nothing going for him. Even though the seasons have gone down hill I think that season 7 will be better...ONLY....ONLY if Kate Voegele is not in it. One Tree Hill was always about friendships, and good MUSIC. Kate Voegele has ruined One Tree Hill in both aspects. Not only is she a terrible actress along with that guy from Laguna Beach, but her music is not good. I used to download songs that I heard on One Tree Hill right after I watched an episode, and that hasnt happened since before Kate Voegele was on it. This season is showing promise with the return of Rachel, and with the relationship struggle between Haley and Nathan with the affair....and those things may just bring One Tree Hill back to my high standards..but that can only be done with out Kate Voegle..and that one guy on it.
