Saddest Clips from past and present shows..

Although I am not necessarily an emotional person I can honestly say that these four clips made me tear up when I saw them when they aired, and still do to this day when I re watch them.

The first two clips are from One Tree Hill, and the O.C.. Both of these clips deal with high school students dealing with shooting incidents.

In the One Tree Hill clip the shooting incident deals with a young unpopular disturbed student named Jimmy who is sick of the popular kids treating him poorly, and more importantly the whole high school scene where he feels nothing more then invisible.

In the O.C. clip the shooting incident deals more with family problems then actual high school issues. Although the shooting portion of this scene is not shown, the part that I found more heartwarming is the fact that the aftermath of Ryan's girfriend shooting Trey to save Ryan's life resulted in Trey leaving without notice. And Ryan being his brother knows exactly where Treys going, and although they may not be on the best terms Ryan still felt the need to say bye to his big brother.

The next two clips deal with two lead characters Lynette in Desperate Housewives, and Kitty in Brothers and Sisters dealing with their cancer, and handeling it differently when it comes to telling friends and family members.

In Desperate Housewives Lynette has spent the first half of kemo, and dealing with cancer just with her husband Tom, and finally after way to much pressure from her kids schools to help out more, Lynette has taken to much, and what starts as a way of shutting a mother up, ends as a way for all of Lynettes friends to see Lynette for what she really is at the time.

In Brothers and Sisters Kitty decides its finally time to let herself and her loved ones surrounding her know whats really going on in her life, and to be proud of just that.

Golden Globes/Critics Choice Awards Review!

Critics Choice beat Golden Globes in several of the important categories. As far as best host Kristen Chenowith totally out did Ricky Gervais. Kristen had a lot of funny sketches, and did a good job interacting with her fellow actors. Where as Ricky spent most of the night promoting his new show, and movie out on DVD, and that was very short of entertaining. Also, the Critics did a lot better job then the Hollywood Foreign Press in deciding the best picture in the Drama category, I two think that Hurt Locker was more deserved then Avatar as far as for the best picture category. Although Avatar has done amazing at the box office, a year ago it wouldn't even be in the best picture group. The biggest disappointment in both the Critics Choice awards, and the Golden Globes was George Clooney, and Up in the Air not getting what they deserve. Even though I do feel that George Clooney should have took home the best actor nod for both awards I think that Jeff Bridges was a good decision non the less. Lets hope that the Oscars do a better job in deciding the winners for the most important categories of the night.
